A multi-stage festival featuring music, story-telling, dance, food, children's activities, and artist showcase & vendors!
Reminiscent of a city street fair, this fall festival will bring together many of the great and creative aspects of our area. Revelers will be encouraged to wander between two main stages showcasing local musical artists, professional story-tellers, and dance performances. Surrounding these stages, festival-goers will discover artist showcases and vendors, plenty to eat, children's activities & workshops, face-painting, and more!
Lee Academy for the Arts and Paris Henry County Arts Council (LA/PHCAC) are excited to invite artists to join us at the 2017 Art Jam Fall Festival to sell their art / product. All items must be original, handcrafted, and/or created by the seller. Applications for mass produced items will not be accepted.
Artists may choose to have a 12x12 booth space outside or gallery space inside the building. Artists who wish to be considered for booth space may submit two to four images of their work and one image of their booth display along with their application. Artists who wish to be considered for gallery space may submit two to four images of their work along with their application.
Completed applications may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or mailed to Lee Academy for the Arts, Attn: Art Jam Applications, PO Box 667, Paris, TN 38242. Applications are due by October 6, 2017.
Artists retain 80% of their sales. In place of a booth fee, 20% of sales will be donated to Lee Academy for the Arts and Paris Henry County Arts Council. If preferred, a booth fee of $100 may be paid prior to the festival instead of a percentage of sales post-festival. Artists are encouraged to practice their art at their festival booth, allowing shoppers to see their creativity in action!
Artists must bring their own booth display equipment and their own table/display surfaces and chairs. Electricity for individual booths is not provided.
Setup of the vendor space shall be completed and the booth occupied by 11:15 a.m. the morning of the festival, November 4th. Vehicles MUST be removed from the festival area by 11:30 a.m. unless otherwise specified.
Food Tickets to be sold by Lee Academy / PHCAC at event: For efficiency and to save food vendors from having to handle money & change on the day of the event, we will sell food tickets for $1.00 per ticket at the event. Cash, checks, and credit cards will be accepted. Each food vendor will set their menu prices as a number of tickets. At the end of the event, each vendor will turn their tickets and will receive $0.80 per ticket.
For a burger, Vendor A charges 5 tickets. After the event, Vendor A will receive $4.00 for the 5 burger tickets ($0.80 x 5).
