Voice Lessons with Allin Montford

A low pressure, one-on-one, fun experience where we work together to find your best voice! We will spend the beginning of class warming the voice up and working on proper posture and vocal technique. Then we will move on to working on the music we have selected especially for you for the remainder of the class.

Skill/Prior Experience: All skill levels are encouraged to take lessons. From the beginner who would like to explore their voice to the seasoned professional who wants a challenge.

Genres: We will explore all styles of music, but we will focus on the styles that the student prefers. My favorites include: musical theater, classical, swing/jazz, and pop!

Ages: Five to Adult

Although optional to students, we may present a small recital at the end of each session of classes.

Check the Class Information page for specifics on registering and available dates, times, and fees.

Instructor Bio

Allin has always had a love for music and the performing arts. He has been very active in the arts community in Paris from a young age. From serving on the Youth for the Arts Council as a student member, to representing Henry County as a member of the HCHS Madrigals, to working with the Krider Performing Arts Center as their summer musical Music Director.

After graduating from Henry County High School he went on to pursue a degree in Vocal Music Education at Bethel University where he graduated Cum Laude in December of 2014. Since then he has continued to work in the community through private voice lessons and his continued support of the Krider Performing Arts Center’s Youth for the Arts Program.
